Parenting Seminar Resources

It’s hard to imagine a job more difficult than parenting. It comes without policy or procedure manuals, requires 24-7 availability, offers no salary, reimbursements, vacation nor days off, and challenges everything you’ve ever learned. No prior training is offered and much of the advice and criticism is given publicly—by people who have never held the job.

But, try to imagine a job more uniquely rewarding. It lovingly forgives mistakes with unconditional second chances, connects you to an incredible community of people, opens daily opportunities for prayer and ministry, binds you and your spouse together in meaningful ways, carries the heartbeat of God, and has the potential to positively affect the future for millions of people.

During this seminar, Yvonne use the most current research to explore the physical, emotional, spiritual and intellectual development of children of all ages. She address questions like:

Does my past have to affect my parenting?
How should I discipline? What is appropriate?
Are the current trends in parenting best for my children
With all the information available to me, how do I know what’s important?
How can I support my child’s spiritual development?
My child NEVER sits still; does he have ADHD?
Should I let my newborn cry?
