Micah 6:8   "He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God?"
 
There are a million books available to us that try to teach us "How to Know the Will of God".  Yet this scripture gives us three very plain and simple guidelines to knowing God and walking in His will:

1. Do Justly-treat others with respect (which definitely includes family members)
2. Love Mercy-joyfully giving grace, mercy, kindness, and love with no strings attached
3. To Walk Humbly with my God-to have a minute by minute relationship with the living God, which makes doing the other two points a possibility

Using these guidelines, simplifies our lives considerably.  When a situation presents itself and causes confusion.....STOP.....Remember this scripture........Then DO IT.

We will never miss the mark with the standard of loving mercy.
