I Thess 5:14,16-18,23-24 "Now we exhort you, brethren, warn those who are unruly, comfort the fainthearted, uphold the weak, be patient with all. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it."
I have nothing profound to say about these scriptures, I just liked reading them. They help me to look up beyond myself and see how big our God is. He gives us a standard to live by and then promises us He will do it. Simple enough. Sometimes we all struggle with "What is the will of God?" Well, here it is...rejoice, pray and give thanks. Many times we want a voice from heaven or a donkey to speak to us, but we are called to be faithful in the little things...comforting the fainthearted, upholding the weak, being patient with all... while rejoicing, praying and giving Him thanks. Sounds simple but it can be very overwhelming at times, but our God is Faithful and HE WILL DO IT.
Have a great day.......Pam
