Sufficiency from God

II Corin 1:9 and 3:5  "Yes, we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead."   "...our sufficiency is from God."

Embracing (& not fighting) the fact that we are totally dependent on God should be our ultimate goal in life.  When we fight God regarding our dependence on Him, that becomes the battleground and it is a battle we will always lose.  And precious time (possibly years) is lost because we cannot be useful to the Kingdom of God until we truly understand where our power really lies.  But if we will embrace "the sentence of death" that Paul speaks of then we will learn to yield to the Spirit of the Living God and then we can become a useful vessel for the power & glory of God to pour through.

II Corin 4:16 says "...Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day."  I want my inward man to be released & used so I must accept (& not fight) the sentence of death to my outward man.  Then we will see the Glory of God come to Yakima.
