Acts 16:4-5 As they traveled from town to town, they delivered the decisions reached by the apostles and elders in Jerusalem for the people to obey. So the churches were strengthened in the faith and grew daily in numbers.
 
This wonderful passage clearly illustrates that as the early church heard "the decisions reached by the apostles and elders," they chose to obey.  God blessed that obedience, that submission to the God appointed authorities in the Jerusalem church, by strengthening the churches and daily adding to their numbers.
 
I believe we are surrounded by a great multitude of people that God desires to add to His church. I see them pass through our doors every week.
 
Lord, whatever it takes- may we find grace to obey.
