Anger

I often find myself becoming frustrated and angry with the “incompetence” of complete strangers; especially when I am driving. I never thought of this as a problem but lately the Lord has been challenging me on it.

In Matthew 5: 21-22, Jesus has this to say about the subject:

21"You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, 'Do not murder,[a] and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.' 22But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother[b]will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, 'Raca,' is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell.

So as it turns out, just yelling at someone from the safety of your own car is something that the Lord will judge. I’ve also noticed that it has made me a much more irritable person overall, and that’s something I don’t want.
