Genesis 8:13 By the first day of the first month of Noah's six hundred and first year, the water had dried up from the earth. Noah then removed the covering of the ark and saw that the surface of the ground was dry.

I saw some interesting parallels in this verse to what God is doing with Katie and I right now. On the first day of the first month we were incredibly blessed to look out from our little ark that we live in and see new ground, a new opportunity to be used by God. As we began a new ministry opportunity (marriage conference) on the first day of this new year, it was thrilling to see that God has opened up vast territories of "real estate" that had previously been occupied . God is moving, raising up a people, a holy Bride radiant and adorned with His splendor. He is calling us forward to take this new land, to be fruitful and multiply. Lord give us the wisdom and courage to move forward.
