I Corin 16:13  "Watch, standfast in the faith, be brave, be strong."
 
As I read this scripture, it made me want to take up a cross and follow in my Lord's footsteps, holding nothing back.  It encouraged me to embrace what life brings, knowing He will give me strength to face my challenges head-on and be victorious.  I really like how this scripture reads in the Amplified version:   "Be alert and on your guard; stand firm in your faith (your conviction respecting man's relationship to God and divine things...)  Act like men and be courageous; grow in strength."  It seems to me that Paul is cheering us on to do great things for God, to not be afraid, or to obey God in spite of our fear.  Paul knows we can be brave because we serve a mighty God and if we'll let Him, He will do mighty works through us also.  Watch, standfast..., be brave...
